nuli

nuli is a modular device that can recall the meaning of korea's national holidays that are disappearing. We propose a new way to celebrate national holidays, which are considered days off, while relaxing indoors.

The national holiday is a day to commemorate the patriotic martyrs by raising the Taegeukgi. In the past, many families raised the Taegeukgi, but now the meaning of national holidays is fading. "Now we need an interpretation of a new national holiday that reflects generations to come."

Currently, the way to celebrate the national holiday is raise the Taegeukgi by using the Taegeukgi flagpole outside the window.
However, as the number of apartments with many floors increased, we found problems such as not being able to install a flagpole, not being able to install it due to the weather, or forgetting national holidays.
