Warm Humanoid - WIP

로봇 내부의 물리적 기계장치와 컴퓨터에서 방출하는 폐열에 주목했다. 로봇 내부의 열은 컴퓨터와 기계의 성능을 하락시키는 요인이 되어 방출해버려야 하지만, 이 버려지는 열기를 표면의 패브릭 파츠로 전달해 외피를 따뜻하게 유지함으로써, 기계의 열을 마치 생명체의 피부가 지닌 온기처럼 재해석했다. 단순히 조형이 사람을 따라가는 것이 아닌, 되려 무생물인 기계의 특성을 감각적 경험으로 전환하여 인간과 로봇의 관계를 보다 친밀한 방식으로 제안하는 휴머노이드 디자인이다.

서울디자인페스티벌 2026에서 완성본 전시 예정.

This design repurposes waste heat from the robot’s mechanical and computing systems, redirecting it to the fabric surface to create warmth like a living skin. Rather than simply imitating the human form, it transforms the cold, rigid characteristics of machines into a warm, sensory experience, creating a more approachable relationship between humans and robots.
